Wells in this area are normally deviated approximately <span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">30\u00b0<\/span> from vertical and are drilled with a conventional lignosulfonate mud.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Well A: Conventional and bead-type lubricants were used for torque and drag reduction.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Well B: <span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">3-4<\/span> ppb of Gilsonite were added at approximately <span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">10,600<\/span> feet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Upon measurement, the torque on well B was reduced\u00a0<span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">36<\/span>% and drag was reduced <span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">50<\/span>%.
